  There are three ways to advertise on o3: digital spreads, traditional CPM-based advertising, and Google AdSense. We are focused on bleeding edge Enterprise Open Source Software and Solutions. We are not just writing about innovations but we are leveraging open source to create new innovations. To that end, we have a much higher quality reader base than most other on-line publications and websites. The site is uncluttered and offers a rich user experience making it fast and easy for our readers to locate the information they are looking for. Our community includes IT professionals, C-level executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, financial analysts, media, investors, corporate decision makers, lecturers, students and teachers.

   

  o3 advertising opportunities

  Currently there are five sections that make up o3 - o3 magazine, o3 news, o3 wire, o3cast.tv and o3 events. Both traditional CPM-based advertising and Google AdSense are offered on all sections. The digital spread is only available at o3 magazine. o3cast.tv offers an number of possibilities to promote a project, product or service. Our o3 newswire service provides projects and businesses with a FREE real-time press release solution.

   

  Google AdSense

    We utilize three types of Google AdSense banner, these confirm to the following IAB Ad Unit Guidelines:

   

  • Leaderboard (728 x 90)
  • Square Button (125 x 125)
  • Wide Skyscraper (160 x 600)

   

    The Square Button is placed in the center of the footer on every page at o3. The Leaderboard is at the top of each page. Immediately to the right of the Leaderboard is our Media Sponsored Event advertisement which is always 215 x 110. The Wide Skyscraper is used in the sidebar on articles, news, wire, events and o3cast.tv sites.

   

  Digital Spreads

  The digital answer to the traditional magazine 2-page spread, our Digital Spread advertising option provides a seamless solution to capture the reader's attention. Unlike a traditional spread, the Digital Spread can display any content that can be served over the web. Instead of having to encourage the reader to click on an advertisement to visit your site, you can display the site or any other content immediately to them. The interface enables the reader to close the view when they are done, having never left the content they were interested in viewing. Digital Spreads cost a fraction of traditional print two page spreads, can be easily tracked through your own web server statistics and offer a powerful new mechanism for advertisers.

   

  Note: Our Digital Spread service is only available on o3 magazine articles, we do not display Google AdSense ads on pages which utilize our Digital Spread feature. Digital Spread content must work within the framework and cannot contain code that prevents the user from accessing the original content they were seeking to view.

  Open Source Projects and Media Sponsorship

    Our goal at o3 is to promote open source, we offer media sponsorship to open source events and projects. We provide FREE 210 x 110 web advertisements to events, free Wide Skyscraper advertisements to projects (160 x 600) and limited FREE Digital Spreads to both. This is done in return for promotional consideration.
